This is a sample of one of our Corvallis Adventure Time newsletters:

FRIENDSHIP

It's something more precious than diamonds or jewels
For this you will break all the rules
It's stronger than anything at all
If you yell, this will be there to answer the call
When you are down, this will pick you up
If you are thirsty, this will fill your cup
Loneliness will be a thing of the past
Because this thing is built to last
And this thing I speak of is just as good as love
So if you wish to drink life sip by sip
You'll realize what I speak of...is friendship

The above poem is dedicated to our Adventure Time Families. Welcome to our Corvallis program. Thank you for choosing A.T. for your child-care needs! Our staff has been providing families like yours, quality care for over ten years. Our staff has remained faithful and consistent throughout the years. Familiar faces are a reassurance of security and a peace of mind!

We understand the need for compassion, structure, gentleness, security, and most importantly a TRUSTING friendship. We know you'll find all of the above and more here at Corvallis! I can state this firmly because the entire staff enjoys working with children. We are all experts in our field. Each teacher has acquired additional education in early childhood development. We are recognized by the State of California as the "top." Please take a moment to review our evaluation by the State of California! We are very proud to have received only honorable mention of perfection in our Corvallis Day Care!

THEMES
As we fall back into our routine of school days, we've drummed up some pretty exciting weekly themes. Our SEPTEMBER THEMES were Books 'n Bells, A is for Apple, New Adventures, and the last week was Sunshine Kids! Activities were book covers with Shirley, special teacher's apple holder with Trish, Tess did myself drawings, Maria helped the children create ringing bells, Louise joined the children in dancing, and Sharon was hoop shooting for fun and adventures galore.

OCTOBER'S ALREADY HERE-our themes take a little turn: Week one of October is Yellows and Oranges, then Harvest Moons as we sail into the middle of the month, Sailing Away. Our clocks will be turning back an hour, so Hands of Time is our fourth week theme, and then last but not least, Creepy Week will give us goose bumps with all the creative activities!
Oranges and Yellows are strung around the room to enrich our fall wonders. Shirley is creating a chain of Yellows and Oranges, while Trish is painting a harvest moon with all the children. Creepy Week is an explosion of frights as Tess teaches shadow art, Maria creates fun masks for all to wear, and Sharon is mixing up some pretty gooey gunk with the children, while Louise is face painting.

A.M. ACTIVITIES
In the morning things are jumping'. Many fun projects are offered inside, and lots of physical activities are going on outside. A.M.s find Maria offering Spanish bingo, Tess creating with ribbon n‚ bows, and Trish has everyone running and shooting hoops. Louise enjoys lanyards with the children-in or out!

P.E.
P.E. is instructed by all the teachers. Every hour on the hour, we offer in and out projects! Shirley enjoys relay races, while Tess is the Koosh dodge ball queen. Trish is the basketball coach at A.T, and Louise involves one and all with Space Boy, while Maria keeps them jumping with our jump rope marathons!

KINDERS
Our new little faces are eager to play and learn! Trish and Shirley get very involved with these newfound friends. We do play acting, hold story time, cook and have music too! Our kinders are very active and most delightful. We have lots of hands-on projects.

COOKING
Cooking up goodies, that's our motto. All children enjoy participating with cooking-we mostly create Jell-O or cover gingerbread men with icing! Sometimes we use cookie cutters to create some pretty fun baloney sandwiches! Shirley and Trish are famous for story time and then creating some delicious treats. For instance, Goldilocks and the Three Bears usually end up with good old' cups of soup, just like the bears would have enjoyed had they run out of porridge!

HOMEWORK HEROES CLUB!
Come one, come all! Enjoy prizes, certificates of achievement and more! Most importantly, you finish your homework and receive the above-then you can go home for more fun time with your family. Plus mom and dad get some additional time to share with you too! We work very closely with the Corvallis teachers and staff-one for all, all for one. We can assist with school projects and homework as well.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
Adventure Time offers a variety of special activities such as a Halloween Fun Day (teachers dress up too), Winter holidays bring out the best in all of us! We have special visitors like Santa, and the Easter Bunny hops in around spring. So keep you heads up for coming events.
