This is a sample of one of our Glenmoor Adventure Time newsletters: Welcome, everyone, to Glenmoor Adventure Time! As always, we are so pleased to see so many familiar faces. And, we are so happy to have new friends this year, too. We are off to a great start with fun projects and games. Our SEPTEMBER THEMES were: Friends and Family Welcome Back Up, Up, and Away Autumn is in the Air Some of the things we did were: We created gifts for grandparents, hot air balloons, planes, butterflies, leaf collages, stained glass leaves, portraits, picture frames, and we also played 4-square, steal the bacon, and one foot off the line. Our THEMES FOR OCTOBER are: Recycle Fun Art Mania Out On a Limb Creepy Crawlers Time to Boo-Gie Among our October activities are robots, castles, marble art, string art, owls, spiders, ghosts, black cats, freeze dance, kickball, and basketball. KINDER TIME We have lots of time to spend alone with our kindergartners this year. That is such a special time of day for all of us. Kinder activities are broken down by days of the week…... Mondays are for art, Tuesdays are musical, Wednesdays are cooking, Thursdays are game day, and Fridays are a day for creative writing! We are diligent about walking your kinders to class and picking them up after school every day. Kinders will eat lunch at A.T. daily and will only snack at school. Any concerns you have, please feel free to ask. HOMEWORK HEROES CLUB We encourage your child to sign up for our Homework Heroes Club. We offer prizes and other incentives, because we know how helpful it can be for a busy child to have his or her homework completed before they go home. We are looking forward to the rest of this fun and exciting year with your children. Until November ....
