WELCOME BACK THORNHILL
We hope that everyone
had a fun and restful summer.
We are already having a great new school year and have many exciting activities
planned.
THEMES
Our themes for September are potpourri, fall wonders, creepy crawlers,
and friendships new and old.
Denyse and kids made
pancakes, fall leaf prints, ladybugs, and lanyards, while Yvette created
beaded barrettes, pizza, and friendship books. Children with Pamela made
a fall collage, fall colors, and friendship bracelets, and Rob Clifton fashioned
papier-mâché bowls, donuts, and gak.
For October, our themes
are Things that Go bump in the night, Orange and Black,The Solar System,
and Mad Scientist At Work.
Pamela is making worms
in dirt, ghost prints, scary monster photos, and volcanos. Denyse and kids
are making lollipop ghosts, skeletons, and tie-dye, while Yvette is creating
a scary collage, orange and black necklaces, and pumpkin pudding. Pumpkin
seeds, jack-o lanterns, and orange Popsicles are being made by Rob
and the kids.
KINDER
TIME
We pick up and drop off kindergartners daily, and will do that throughout
the year. Denyse and Yvette will be working with our kinders this year,
so we should have a great K program. The Ks are getting to know each other.
We will be focusing on games, songs, coloring, and art projects.
Please call us with
any questions or concerns.
Until next time,
Your Thornhill Adventure Time Staff
